The 18th China International Industry Fair, the international industry fair for the display and trading of equipment manufacturing industry, is to be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) during November 1–5, 2016. Russia is the partner country. It is expected to have Russian Vice Premier to attend the opening ceremony with China’s counterparts. Two specialized themed shows under the Fair, the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) and Industrial Automation Show (IAS) will have many highlights this year. Focusing on intelligent manufacturing, MWCS and IAS 2016 will rise to the challenges of industrial recession and sing highly the main motto of “Strong Manufacturing with Intelligence First” by dint of innovative technologies and industrial integration. MWCS 2016 will attract over 600 pioneering enterprises within a display area of 70,000 sqm. IAS 2016 will gather over 600 industrial leaders from home and abroad to highlight intelligent and green manufacturing, with a display area of 55,000 sqm. The two shows are organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.
MWCS 2016: Active Participation Despite of Industrial Recession
The slowdown in Chinese economic growth deals a severe blow to machine tool manufacturers. Nevertheless, MWCS 2016, the most influential international metalworking show in the Asian-Pacific region, realizes rises in many indicators. This year’s show sees a 10% growth in scale, augmented exhibitors of sheet metal and a more complete metalworking process with the newly launching of “metal stamping” sector. Leading enterprises from 11 countries and regions including Germany, South Korea, the United States, Japan and Switzerland will jointly write a chapter of “exquisite process and quality foundation” in such fields as sheet metal, stamping and metal cutting.
The sheet metal and laser cutting sector in Hall 2 and Hall N will comprehensively showcase metal-cutting machine tools, metal-forming machine tools, non-traditional machine tools, CNC system, grinding materials and tools, cutters, 3D printers and other equipment. The domestic and foreign exhibitors include Trumpf, Amada, Salvagnini, Prima Power, Messer, Mitsubishi Electric, Muratec, Rofin-Baasel, Precitec, Han’s Laser, Hgtech, Chutian Laser, Yangli, Yawei, Jinfangyuan CNC Machine. The “high-tech metal stamping exhibition zone” is set to cater for the customer demands for lean manufacturing shifted from mass manufacturing. Outstanding stamping equipment makers actively join in the show, such as Yangli Group, Wuxi Jinwo Machine Tool, Yangzhou Metalforming Machine Tool (Yadon)and Ningbo Goanwin Machinery Manufacturing. Various types of precision and high-speed equipment and supporting automatic production lines will be shown on the site, providing global users with effective, flexible and intelligent solutions to stamping production. It is worth mentioning that Mitsubishi Electric, a world-leading electric and electronic product maker, will set up a booth respectively at MWCS and IAS for the first time. The digital factory system set at IAS sends orders to the machine tool set at MWCS for processing complex materials to achieve flexible, intelligent and lean production. Welding furniture manufacturer SIEGMUND will offer pure Paulaner beer on the site, showing visitors a perfect combination of precision machines and Germany-type lifestyle. The molding sector at Hall 2 and Hall N will welcome famous domestic and foreign brands and provide molding technology suppliers around the world with a platform to display their intelligent manufacturing and high-techs and release the latest techniques of the machine tool industry.
IAS 2016: Intelligent Manufacturing Shapes the Future
With the issuance and implementation of Made in China 2025, the intelligent manufacturing has become a main objective of Chinese manufacturing industry, as well as a key to keeping up with the world development trend and realizing the transformation and upgrading. Themed on the “Intelligence, Information and Digitalization Shape Manufacturing in the Future,” IAS 2016 attracts many innovation enterprises and more leading industrial manufacturers than before to display core technologies of intelligent manufacturing, jointly demonstrating a trend of intelligent and green manufacturing.
Industrial robots is the most anticipated spotlight in the show. This year, in addition to global giants, many domestic self-owned brands will join in including such rising stars as Siasun, GSK, Estun, Efort, Steprobots and QKM, which pay great attention to robot research and development. They will compete with global industrial robot tycoons with their latest technologies and products. In addition, the technical innovation of Industrie 4.0 will continue to be displayed during IAS. Bosch and SAP, the industrial manufacturing enterprises from Germany will showcase their latest intelligent production line of Industrie 4.0 on the site. Bosch will present with all its business sectors. Siemens will bring the “digitalized enterprise” innovations designed for Chinese enterprises and Industrie 4.0 solutions.
Other notable exhibitors such as Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Mitsubishi Electric, Beckhoff, Rittal, B&R, Balluff, Wago, Pepperl+Fuchs, Elco, Sick, Weidmuller, Harting, IFM, Omron, Hiwin, Delta, Baumer, Tyco will make their presence at Hall 5.1 and Hall 6.1.with huge booths and state-of-the-art technologies to showcase the flourishing industrial automation, providing visitors with the latest technologies and equipment in the fields of factory solutions, servo and motor control, sensors and connector, embedded systems, industrial Ethernet, pneumatic drive and transmission, etc.
A series of events will be held at the same time to focus on industrial hotspots and developments, including the 5th Sheet Metal Working Meeting 2016, 2016 Application and Development Forum of High Speed Metal Cutting, LS New Technology Seminar & New Product Conference, the 15th MES（manufacturing execution system）Development & Application Conference, OFweek China Industrial Internet Seminar Report 2016, the 5th Industrial Control System Information Security Summit 2016, ELCO Intelligent Manufacturing Summit Forum, 2016 Annual Conference of Shanghai Association of Automation. All official information of the show will be shared with exhibitors, visitors and purchasers via various traditional and new media.
