Highlighting Intelligence and Innovation, IAS 2017 Kick Off Today

The 19th China International Industry Fair grandly opens at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on November 7, 2017. Two specialized themed shows under the Fair, the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) and Industrial Automation Show (IAS) focus on intelligence and innovation, respectively attracting over 600 top brands within a display area of 70,000 sqm. The two shows are organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.

As the most influential international metalworking show in the Asian-Pacific region, MWCS 2017 keeps rising momentum and vividly reflects the industrial rebound. A strong lineup of world-leading brands brings their latest products and technologies at three major thematic pavilions. The number of machine tools being showcased at the show is estimated to more than 1,000 and the whole scale has also witnessed an increase of 25%.

This year, MWCS attracts over 300 exhibitors from sheet metal, shaping, stamping machinery manufacturing and other related industries. The show displays a complete metal shaping industrial chain including laser cutting, 3D printing, shearing, folding, stretching, straightening, stamping, forging and pressing, robot production line, welding, surface treatment, mold, software, measurement and inspection, transport, safe production and research. Meanwhile, organizers not only gather metalworking giants from home and abroad including Trumpf, AMADA, Salvagnini, Bystronics, Prima Power, Mitsubishi, MAZAK, Muratec, BLM, Hans Laser, Lead, HG Laser, Chutian, Yangli, Yawei and JFY, but also invite professional buyers from various industries involving engineering, agricultural, packaging, animal husbandry machinery, automobile covering parts, chassis cabinets, aviation, rail transport, air-conditioning pipe, elevator equipment, electronic products to jointly compose a magnificent chapter of CNC machine tool and metalworking.

As an international event, IAS focuses on comprehensive solutions for industrial automation, production and process automation, electrical system, Industrial IT, informationization of manufacturing industry and microsystem. This year, the show attracts some 600 enterprises from 21 countries and regions including China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, America, Italy, Switzerland, France, Austria, Britain, Israel and Singapore.

It is worth mentioning that IAS has won UFI Approval. According to product types, the exhibition areas are strictly divided into production and process automation, electrical system, industrial automation IT & software, microsystem technology. This year, the show gathers top industrial enterprises including SIEMENS, PHOENIX, MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC, BOSCH, OMRON, DELTA, TURCK, FESTO, SMC, TE, BECKHOFF, NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS, B&R, LENZE, ADVANTECH, GOOGOL, INVT, EURA, IEI, SANYO DENKI, RITTAL, ELCO, BALLUFF, WAGO, P+F, IFM, SICK, WEIDMULLER, HARTING, BAUMER, MURR, PILZ, HIWIN, MISUMI, KEYENCE, YOUNGSUN,  CHELIC, AIRTAC, MINDMAN, PARKER and NORD. The proportion of overseas exhibitors has taken up over 60%. What’s more, industry associations also take advantage of strong resources to invite large-scale enterprises and industrial buyers, offering a professional attentive one-stop service.

Various forums and technical exchange including China Sheet Metal Working Meeting and "China Manufacturing 2025" Summit Meeting will be held concurrently to explore industrial development trend and boost “Made in China 2025”.
