Robot technology has developed rapidly in recent years. Various service robots such as food delivery robots and sweeping robots have been introduced, and corresponding industrial robots are also developing rapidly.

Industrial robots are multi-joint manipulators or multi-degree-of-freedom mechanical devices widely used in the industrial field. They have certain automation and can realize various industrial processing and manufacturing functions by relying on their own power energy and control capabilities. At present, industrial robots are widely used in various industrial fields such as electronics, logistics, and chemical industry, and are an important force in promoting industrial development.

Production and sales status

The data shows that in 2021, the national industrial robot output will reach 366,000 sets, the highest value in the past five years, a year-on-year increase of 44.9%. It is estimated that in 2022, the output of industrial robots in my country will exceed 400,000 sets.

In recent years, the sales volume of my country's industrial robot market has shown an overall growth trend, with only a slight decline in 2019, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%. In 2021, the sales volume of my country's industrial robot market will grow rapidly, with a cumulative sales volume of 248,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 46.1%. Due to the rapid development of the industrial robot industry, market sales are expected to reach 301,000 units in 2022.

my country has become the world's largest consumer of industrial robots for 8 consecutive years, and the sales of industrial robots have shown an increasing trend. In 2022, the scale of the domestic market will be further expanded and is expected to approach 50 billion yuan.

Industrial chain development

my country's industrial robot industry has formed a complete industrial chain after decades of development. Upstream components are extremely important for industrial robots as raw materials. The three core components are control systems, servo systems, and reducers. The midstream is the robot body, and the downstream is the integrated system, which is widely used in automotive, 3C, food, beverage and other industries.

Among the upstream components, the control system, servo system, and reducer are the core components for the development of industrial robots, but at present, the domestic level of these three core components still needs to be improved, and overseas brands dominate the bargaining power. right.

The midstream of the industrial robot industry is the robot body. Responsible for the assembly and integration of the industrial robot body, that is, the base and the actuator, including arms, wrists, etc., and some robot bodies also include walking structures.

Downstream is the integrated application provider, responsible for targeted system integration and software secondary development for industrial robots according to different application scenarios and uses. The development potential of the downstream industry chain is huge. At present, advanced manufacturing downstream such as lithium battery, warehousing, medical treatment, and semiconductor is accelerating to become a new fertile ground for the robot industry.

The development of industrial robots has received strong support from the government. Previously, 15 departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for Robot Industry Development", which proposed that by 2025, my country will become the source of global robot technology innovation, High-end manufacturing agglomeration and a new highland for integrated applications; the average annual growth rate of the robot industry's operating income exceeds 20%; a group of internationally competitive leading companies and a large number of specialized, special and new "little giants with strong innovation capabilities and good growth potential" have been formed "Enterprise, build 3 to 5 industrial clusters with international influence; the density of manufacturing robots has doubled.

Specifically, my country's automobiles, electronics, machinery, warehousing and logistics have formed large-scale application fields. Under this background, efforts should be made to develop and promote new robot products and develop high-end application markets; In areas with strong initial applications and strong potential demands such as emergency rescue, develop robot products and solutions, carry out pilot demonstrations, and expand application space; in specific sub-scenarios, links and fields such as bathroom, ceramics, hardware, and furniture, form specialized, Customized solutions, copy and promote, and create characteristic service brands.
